Doris Salembier, 96, passed away on Monday September 14, 2009 at Franciscan Oakes Assisted Care in Denville, NJ.
Doris was born in New York City, NY was a resident in Long Island and for many years in Packanack Lake, NJ, and for the last 15 years at Franciscan Oaks in Denville, NJ. She was a founding member of the Packanack Lake Country Club and an avid golfer.
She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Albert Salembier in 1974.
She is survived by her daughters Suzanne Nichol of Rotonda West, FL and Joan Suttoni of Lake Wylie, SC, and 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Doris’s funeral services will be held on Friday September 18th at 11:00am at Denville Community United Methodist Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd., Denville, NJ, interment committal services at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday September 18th from 9:00am to 10:30am at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Doris on web site). Donations maybe made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 140 Littleton Road, Suite 200, Parsippany, NJ would be appreciated.
