Eleanor F. Sheridan, 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15th with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 19th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Church, Denville. Interment to follow at Cresthaven Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 18th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Eleanor was born in Belleville to the late Frederick and Ellen Barmore.
She was a past member of the Denville Senior Citizens Club, and a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. She was the proud first resident in Cooks Pond Senior Housing and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Eleanor always made the best of everything. She wanted for nothing and was an exceptional Mother, homemaker, and Grandmother.
Predeceased by her husband Arthur Sheridan and her sister Doris Sheridan; she is survived by her children Eleanor Schreiber (Louis), Ralph Estelle, Doris Rogers (Richard), Arthur Sheridan (Sharon), Kathleen Bradley (Mark), Richard Sheridan (Belen); fifteen adoring grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren; brother Frank Kovats and many more loving relatives, caretakers and friends.
