Grace E. “Mitzi” Mottola, 84, with all her family at her side passed away on Monday April 27, 2009 at Saint Clare’s Hospital, NJ.
Mrs. Mottola was born in Union City and was a longtime resident of Denville. She was a high honors graduate of St. Michael’s Monastery High School in Union City. Mitzi was a loving wife and mother.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony C. Mottola in 2004.
She is survived by her children, Joanne Clark and her husband Harry of Norwalk, CT, Bernice Antifonario and her husband Frank of Dracut, MA, Tony Mottola Jr. of Montclair, NJ, and Nina DePietro and her husband Vince of Ringwood, NJ, also seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Mitzi’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, N J www.normandean.com, (please visit web site to light a candle in memory of Mitzi), on Friday May 1st at 9:00am for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ, committal and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to call at funeral home on Thursday April 30th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
