Obituary of Tiffany Doswell Oakes

TIFFANY DOSWELL OAKES AGE 36 Rockaway Twp. Tiffany Oakes, 36, was called “Home” on Monday April 20, 2009. She was born in Fairfax Virginia in 1972 and was raised in an Air Force family living in many states and countries. She moved to NJ in 1992 to attend Rutgers University where she attained a B.A. in Psychology and later NYU where she earned her Masters in Social Work graduating Cum Laude. Tiffany worked at St. Clare’s Health Services as a Behavioral Counselor and Clinician winning a “Stars” award. She later went on to lead a team of clinicians on a new initiative working with the severally psychiatrically impaired (SPMI) population for Advanced Housing. Continuing in the mental health field, she was selected by CBH Care for another ground breaking effort as the program manager at the Greystone Campus teaching the severely SPMI population how to live on their own. Tiffany is survived by her loving husband of six years, Anthony, and her two beautiful children, Gillian 4 1/2 and Liam 14 months. She also leaves her parents B/G David Oakes and JoAnn Oakes and Sister Christie. She also leaves her mother-in-law Helen Rivas and two sisters-in-law, Debbie and Denise.
