Obituary of Russell L. Montney

Russell L. Montney passed away at his home in Randolph on Sunday April 19, 2009.
He was 86 years.
Born in Mundy Twp., MI, he had lived in Rockaway Twp., before moving to Randolph, NJ 15 years ago.
Russell received his Bachelors degree from Michigan State University and then worked as a City Planner from Middlesex County and Rockville, MD, and then was a Town planning consultant for Robert Catlin and Associates before retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Free Masons Vienna Lodge 201 in MI, and was a long time volunteer at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville.
He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen M. Montney in 1994.
Russell is survived by his son Paul A. and Daughter in-Law Patricia Montney of Hillsborough, NJ, his Grandsons Rusty of Brooklyn, NY, and Mark of NC, and his sister Ruth Clark of FL.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Thursday April 23, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ for a 10AM service at Rockaway Presbyterian Church in Rockaway, NJ. Interment will follow at 2PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, PA. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
