Hi grandma!! Sorry that I haven't wrote to you in awhile. I haven't wrote to you since November 2010! :/ well it turns out that the twins were actually boys, and we named them will Donovan and Wyatt Declan. They are 9 months old. I bet you love watching them grow up. I miss you! Grandpa is in a really nice nursing home now. He can do arts and crafts. He ALWAYS thinks about you. :) while we were at grandpas old nursing home a nice old man gave us each 3 oatmeal raises cookies. They were good. I don't cry when I think about you anymore. But I do think about you when I'm sad and say that grandma would want me to be happy so I be happy. I miss you so much!!(: love, Abbie

Hi Bea,
I can't believe so much time has passed and you are not here. I miss you everyday and I still can't stop crying. I know you came to me in a dream and wanted me to stop but I miss you too much to ever stop missing you. I see all the smiley faces you send me and I know you answer me whenever I call you but I will never stop missing you. I feel as if I am alone since I can't call you and talk to you the way we did before. Say Hi to Mom and Russ for me and keep sending smiley faces whenever you are around me. I love you and I always will.

Lord, are there roses in your garden
On the shores of Kokomo
Would you pick a dozen of your best
And deliver them for me?
For you see, today is mothers’ day
And I can’t visit my mom
For it wasn’t very long ago
The angels came and took her home.
So if there are roses in your garden
On the shores of Kokomo
Would you pick a dozen of your best
And deliver them for me?
Would you take them to my mother
And tell her that I love her.
Tell her that I miss her
In oh! So many ways
But I have joy in knowing
We’ll meet again someday
And we’ll pick roses together
On the shores of Kokomo.
Happy Mothers Day Mom!
I Love You!

I still cannot believe you are gone. Everyday I miss you. I went to 7 am mass for you Thursday. Margie and family had the mass said in your name.
I asked you to send me a new smiley face each time you are around me and I see smiley faces almost everyday.
I love you and miss you so much.

Mom, I cannot believe it has been a year already. It seems like yesterday we last saw you at the hospital on Easter Sunday. It has been a tough year of firsts without you. Family gatherings have not been the same. You were the light that lit up our lives, was the beacon of light that brightened our darkest days, and the light at the end of the tunnel. We miss you very much. Not a day goes by that we do not talk about you, think about you, or wish you were here with us. Please continue to look over us and provide us with hope and with the light you have given all your friends and family. With all my love, Teddy.

You died today right now. I remember when i came back from the sleepover at my friend's house and mommy sat me and Mason down on the park bench and told me that your heart stopped beating. I just wanted to say that I miss you grandma.

Hi Mom, as you know Uncle Russ left this world to be with you and Grandma today. I cannot believe we have lost you both so soon and so close together. I am glad you were there to greet him. The pain of loosing you was reawakened tonight when I heard the news. I am comforted by the thought that the three of you are together again after such a long time apart. I can imagine the three of you hugging and talking, and catching up. It seems like everything I have known is slipping away. I know it is a part of life but it is now very easy. Please look after Dad as he is not really looking after himself and he is not interested in anyone helping him. I miss you so very much and I love you with all my heart. I cannot wait to see you again some day. With love, Teddy.

Hi Bea,
Happy Birthday!
I wish I could call you and sing Happy Birthday to you as we did for so many years for each other. But instead, Ed and I went to see you. Ted was there and we and wished you Happy Birthday together.
I miss you more & more each day. Everything reminds me of you and me and the love we had for each other.
I talked to you everyday and cry because I can't call you and talk to you on the phone. There are so many things I want to tell you and ask you advise, but I can't.
I had a dream a week or so ago that I called you just to hear your voice on your machine and you answered the phone. You told me not to let Ed know you were on the phone. So we talked till you told me you had to go and I had to live my life. I woke up crying like a baby because I knew you had told me to get on with my life without you.
I love you Bea and I miss you soooo much it hurts me.
Love,
Gloria

Hi Mom,
Its been over two months now since you left us. It has been a very tough time for me. I just dont let it show. Last week Bea had a Birthday party for Jess and it was just not the same without you there. Dad's not doing well. He continues to loose weight and does not seem interested at all in socializing. He has really withdrawn inward. I know you were his life so I cannot even imagine what he feels or what he is going through. I hope God offers him some peace during his remaining days with us. It hurts us all to see him alone and because of his Huntingtons he doesn't want to move in with anyone. Please keep him in your prayers as we do every day. Watch over him and comfort him through these dark days. With Love, Teddy.

Dear Mom,
I was walking through Home Depot today with Matthew, Abbie, and Mason getting stuff we need for Dad's new room. I cannot believe it was just one week ago to the day that we were at the same Home Depot shopping for you and Dad to price out everything we needed to build you guys your new parent's suite. We were so excited about both of you moving in with us and I was really looking forward to really getting to know you guys again. We have lived a part for so long. I have a tough time when I think about how we were going to get and enjoy a hot dog again like we did when you retired. I will take Dad with me and we will use that special time to remember you. I talked with Dad tonight and he was watching a baseball game on TV. I could hear it in the background. He seemed at peace. He told me he started to like baseball when he went to the games with you and when you watched them on TV together. I will take him to some minor league games with the grandkids. Don't worry we will take good care of him for you. Rest in Peace Mom. I love you with all my heart. Love Teddy.

Mom,
When we left you on Wednesday night in the care of your nurses they all asked that we call them with your funeral arrangements. I just got off the phone with Janice from Merry Hart and she was heart broken to learn of your passing. She asked me for your funeral arrangements too. She said there are people you met there who would want to come. It comforted me to know the people who were taking care of you in your final days cared for you and loved you as much as family. Even in your final days you were making friends and helping others. I just wish God gave you and us more time and didn't take you so quickly so we didn't have a chance to say goodbye. You were a great person and I miss you very much. Abbie is having a real tough time and I am sure she is going to continue to leave you many more messages and I already told her you didn't mind. A great woman who will be missed. I remember going to her house for Scout meetings and playing in the old neighborhood.

Dear Mom,
I cannot express in mere words just what you meant to me. You were everything a son could ever want or need in a mom. I am utterly heartbroken that I did not make it in time to hold your hand and say goodbye. You touched so many lives and were loved by so many people. I was truly blessed to have you as my mom. I know you are in a heaven now and you are no longer suffering. Watch over us. Rest in Peace Mom. I will miss you with all my heart.
Love Always and Forever,
Your little boy,
Teddy
