Your kindness and bright smile always made my day when I passed you in the hall at Franciscan Oaks. It was a pleasure to move you and Irma in and listen to your wonderful family stories. You will be missed.

John & Irma were great friends to my parents Dot & Erv for 20 years while living at Leisure Village West. He installed fans in all of their rooms and they attended Pinelands Church together. They spent many hours in supporting my mother the last year of her life. Our daughter Meredith has enjoyed the use of their Captain's table & chairs. A finer man there couldn't have been. He surely is welcomed in heaven!

Since our families were close for around 50 years, 'Uncle John', has been thought of fondly, as family, for as long as I can remember. My Dad, Allan Baylis, and John worked for Union Camp together for many years. We Baylis' visited you in Virginia and Kinnelon, and the parents vacationed all over the world together, with the Inmula's (alumni backwards), spent holidays, especially New Year's Eve together, and generally loved life as a group of closely knit folks. All the gals and guys were lovely and each other's best friends.John also got me a part time job at U.C. in Lyndhurst when I was in college, and we shared many rides to Kinnelon from there where my father would pick me up. John's bright eyes and ever smiling face were always a joy to see. He and Erma were always welcoming and loving. They were also a party to the Baylis girls' weddings, and my father always counted John as one of his closest friends! Our prayers go out to Erma, Carol and Kevin, that even though you are grieving, Our Lord will bring you a peace and strength as you struggle through this time of change. love always
