Paul George Schroeder passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover on March 21, 2009.
He was 81 years old.
Born in Chicago, IL he had moved to City Island, NY in 1948, and then to Rockaway Twp., NJ 22 years ago.
Paul had served in the US Navy after WWII. He then worked as an Auditor for Citibank in NY, NY for 35 years before retiring in 1983. After retirement he worked at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, and then at Newsweek in Mt. Lakes, NJ.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Frieda (Bube) Schroeder of Rockaway Twp. His loving daughters Madelon & Joe Sarti, and Maria & Gary Pedersen, both of Rockaway Twp., NJ and Nora & Kenny Wladimirsky of Boca Raton, FL, and his 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren also survive him.
Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ on Tuesday March 24, from 9AM to 11AM. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM at St. Simon the Apostle Church in Green Pond, NJ. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
