Robert Allen Williams of Denville passed away March 13, 2009 after his fearless battle with kidney cancer. He was born in Pittsburgh December 6, 1946, Robert worked as a consultant at Oracle for 15 years. He was a member of the US Army following in his father’s footsteps, he served at Vietnam in 1970 before being honorably discharged in June 1971.
Robert loved life. He enjoyed exploring and traveling whenever and wherever he could. Shortly after college graduation from the Wharton School University of Pennsylvania, he started his backpacking journey across the world. He met his amazing wife Martha in 1980 and was married on October 12, 1985 in Bayonne, NJ. They built a wonderful home together in Rock Ridge where the majority of the summer was spent with their three loving daughters Lauren, Chelsea, and Michelle.
Robert will be missed and loved by many. He will be remembered for his easy going personality his entertaining humor that made so many laugh and his compassion that he showed in everything he did.
Robert’s memorial services will be held on Monday March 16th at 3:00pm at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Robert on web site). In lieu of flowers donations to The Kidney Foundation online donation www.kidney.org.
