Lee, John, and Bill:
I am out in Arizona, and will be unable to see you at the funeral home. I wanted you to know how sorry I am about Jack's passing. He was a wonderful guy with a great sense of humor, and is now in a better place. How fitting that he spent most of his life within walking distance of one of his favorite places, MTCC, where he could cut through to the 6th tee box and enjoy the pastoral serenity of the golf course. Jack Regan and I loved playing with him and Ralph Groves because of his easy temperament and his antics of enjoyment that always affected those around him. Please accept my heart-felt condolences - he will be sorely missed. With sadness, Bob Q. P.S. You can bet that I will be sending a contribution to MTCC on his behalf. Take care.

My sincerest condolences to Lee and John and Willy and family.
As we were innaugerating a great man, we were also loosing a great man in uncle Jack.
I have such great memories of growing up in Tabor and getting to see the get- togethers with Jack, Don, Clair, Ed, Herb, and Dad, and of course their wives. The men would tip a few and have a howling good time, and then later get howled at by the wives who had to sit and witness their "man" behaviors.
One of my favorite memories is of a weekend that Jack and I spent visiting Willy at the U. of Hartford. Jack did his damndest to support and even join in with Willy and my adolescent behaviors of the time.
Jack and Lee both were very special folks to me growing up in Tabor, as I know they were for my brothers as well. Brother John use to tell a great story about uncle Jack. It was one of his favorite stories, which we won't go into at this time. But it was a howler for sure. Brother John loved Jack immensely. I think they were alot alike.
My memories of Jack will forever put a smile on my face.

Jack and Lee always livened things up on their visits to California. Jack's thirst for knowledge and spirit of adventure will always live on in Harry, who has always been a rolling stone.
With warm memories,
Abby
