We met Kitty when visiting my parents Bob and Cathy Muir in Delray. We loved to chat with Kitty and Flo by the pool. She was very fond of my mother and very kind to us when she passed away. We extend our condolences to Flo and the family. I know she will be greatly missed.

what a sweet lady and devoted mother and grandmother any time that I was in her company she was so very kind and interested in so many things - she remembered our children's names all through the years and was so interested in other people and what was going on in the world - her travel and her great interest in sports kept her lively and fun to be with - we are so very sorry that this has come as such a shock to the family but are so happy that she was able to live life to the fullest all these years

My friend Kitty was one half of the group my wife Cathy referred to as "the sisters" Florence was the other half of the duo. Kitty looked frail but was a tough as leather. While watching a Giant game Kitty would shout "Hit him, hit him" with all the ferocity of a linebacker.
Once while out to dinner, Kitty was recovering from a hip problem, thus she was using a walker. the restaurant was somewhat crowded and Kitty was maneuvering between the tables. The walker accidentally bumped into the back of a chair. The occupant turned and gave Kitty his best South Florida glare. Kitty's retort was quick and to the point. She said "If you think that is annoying you should try this thing from my side."
Kitty was a true child of the depression. Raised in a Harlem tenement, her father dead at an early age, she and Florence forged the strength of character poverty can sometimes bring. Kitty had what my mother called "Gumption". The ability to stand up to adversity and never be vanquished. She had a quick Irish wit, smiling Irish eyes and a huge Irish heart. Anyone who knew her loved her. Kitty left us yesterday gently in her sleep. I will miss her so very much.

Kitty and I first met in 1991 when we were both "renters" here in the Hamlet. We became neighbors and good friends in the years that followed.
Arthur and I loved spending time with her, as you always knew just where she was coming from. She was honest, forthright and a delight to be with. Her sense of humor and wit will sorely be missed..
As a grandmother myself, let me tell you that Todd and Allyson were the joys of her life. She shared with us every goal they scored in varsity athletics, every skiing event they entered, every academic achievement, and we all waited with her until while first Todd. and then Allyson were accepted to the colleges of their choice. Kitty shared her grandchildren with us, but unlike many here in south Florida, she never "bragged" about them. Please let Todd and Allyson know that they gave her more pleasure than even they can imagine.
Arthur and I shall miss her. This place will be a little less friendly. Your mother was quite a lady. Please accept our sincere condolences. Arthur and Evelyn Frankel
