One time at Paul Smiths College, I went outside of our dorm and my eyelids froze shut because it was -56 below 0 with the wind chill. Luckily, Teresa saw me out of her window when I was trying to find my way back into the dorm. She came to my rescue, and we laughed about it all day. It was the only day Paul Smiths College closed because it was "too cold". She was like a sister to me at PSC, and I will always carry her memory very close to my heart. I will also remember to wear ski goggles when I visit Paul Smiths in the winter.

Though T worked diligently thoughout the mojority of her day we would often take breaks to catch up on our lives and simply have girl talk. Our death is our wedding with eternity
What is the secret? "God is One."
The sunlight splits when entering the windows of the house.
This multiplicity exists in the cluster of grapes;
It is not in the juice made from the grapes.
For he who is living in the Light of God,
The death of the carnal soul is a blessing.
Regarding him, say neither bad nor good,
For he is gone beyond the good and the bad.
Fix your eyes on God and do not talk about what is invisible,
So that he may place another look in your eyes.
It is in the vision of the physical eyes
That no invisible or secret thing exists.
But when the eye is turned toward the Light of God
What thing could remain hidden under such a Light?
Although all lights emanate from the Divine Light
Don't call all these lights "the Light of God";
It is the eternal light which is the Light of God,
The ephemeral light is an attribute of the body and the flesh.
...Oh God who gives the grace of vision!
The bird of vision is flying towards You with the wings of desire. Rest in peace. To my beautiful cousin teresa. "LULU"

Oh Great Spirit whose voice I hear in the wind...
And whose breath gives life to the world...
Hear Me...
I come to you as one of your many children...
I am small and weak.
I need your strenth and wisdom.
May I walk in beauty.
Make my eyes ever behold
The red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect
The things that you have made,
And my ears sharp to hear your voice...
Make me wise so that I may know the things
That you have taught your children...
The lessons you have hidden
In every leaf and rock.
Make me strong
So that not to be superior
To my brothers...But to be able to fight My greatest enemy...
Myself.
Make me ever ready to come to you...
With straight eyes,
So that when life fades as the fading sunset...
My spirit may come to you
Without shame...
My thought and prayers are with you all. Love Susie

Your smile, magnetic personality, and caring nature have been taken from so many people. I am so confused by this but know that you are watching over and protecting everyone you ever met in your life. We shared some great memories: the Tea Hive, the ballpark, trip to Vegas, showers, weddings... they are with me forever. I miss you already and can't imagine going through things without you there. It will not be the same. You were an angel here and was born with wings! We will all meet again one day and pick up from where things left off. Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Teresa, we can only imagine how wonderful she must have been. Knowing Matt as long as we do and some members of the family, we know she had to be a fabulous person and your grief must be immeasurable. Our hearts, thoughts, love and deepest sympathies are with all of those who knew and loved her. It is incomprehensible that such a beautiful, young, vivacious woman was taken so suddenly, but we must trust in our faith that she is comfortably resting in the hands of our Father and now watching down and protecting those she loved. We trust your memories will carry you through this difficult time. We are so sorry for your loss.

Remeber Me
To the living, I am gone,
To the sorrowful, I will never return,
To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.
So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea- as you look upon a flower and admire it's simplicity- Remeber me.
Remember me in your heart:
Your thoughts and your memories,
Of the times we loved,
The times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.

I have no idea where to start. There was so much that we shared, and so many that we will continue to share while we talk at night. I had so much fun with you and you were always the best sister a brother could ask for. I will never understand all of this, but I am so happy that I was able to say goodbye to my big sister, the most wonderful and beautiful girl I have ever known. I guess now we really get to share Jared now, your husband, my brother.. I know you are happy, grammy waiting with open arms, with the Porkmiester, Dan, Scratch me poody cat, and all the other creatures and friends that you loved and adored. I love you so much and you will always be on mind and in my heart. your loving brother, Timmy

Teresa spent hours helping me hand paint my wedding favors in 2000. We worked at the Tea Hive together and spent days laughing. She loved Scooby and dressed like him to served tea on Halloween. It is sad to think she will not know how I still laugh at all great times we had, and how often I thought of her when I looked at the wedding pot we painted together.

There is nothing that any of us can say that will lessen the hurt that we're all feeling by losing Teresa. She brought light into all of our lives without even trying, all she ever had to do was be herself. We are all better people for having known her, and she will be missed each and every day. We will always love you T, and we are grateful to have had you in our lives...

Sunshine,
one of the few regrets in my life is that we lost touch with eachother so long ago. And as fate had it, I wasn't able to be a part of your wedding day when you were a part of mine.
I know you lived each day to the fullest and the crime is that it was way too short. all I can say is I'm a better person having known you and I miss you already.

Teresa, thank you for being the most incredible best friend a girl could ask for....you will forever hold a place in my heart and blessed for the past 10 years of friendship. I will always remember the wonderful times--- the Cardinals, the late nites, Vegas, the cornmaze, and your incredible smile..... Grins and Giggles and of course, her Ging.
I remember I was ten. Susan and Joe were at our house. We were all so excited, a baby this spring! I couldn’t wait; it seemed to take forever until she was born. Somehow I remember thinking that Teresa should have been a boy not a girl. But then I saw her and she was beautiful. All baby girl and sweet, so very sweet. She grew strong and lovelier each day. Before I realized it, a young woman stood before me no longer my ”baby” cousin. I hadn’t seen her in such a long time and I realized how much I missed her and yes, there was something quite different about her too. She blushed, and her smile gave her away. Love had found her. She spoke of you Jared and she was literally glowing. As a cousin, who is often too far away, I will miss her. Knowing how happy she was and how much she loved and was loved, I can’t help but think we are all better for having had the chance to love her back.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I wish I had a chance to know Teresa better from when she came to work two days a week at Hertz. Teresa was always friendly, interested in others, and upbeat. I remember getting a lovely gift of the eggs she brought from her mother's home, and how beautiful the eggs were. She wanted to figure out how to use the eggs at her wedding. I enjoyed saving my egg cartons to send home with her. I remember the excitement of her planning her wedding and how beautiful she looked in her gown. I remember how happy she was in her marriage, and how she was looking forward to spending the Christmas holidays in Michigan with her husband's family. I can't imagine the pain and loss that her family must be suffering now. You are all in my prayers.
