Evelyn McGee, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29th, surrounded by her loving children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, Denville. Kindly, meet us at church. Interment to follow at Denville Cemetery. Evelyn was born in NYC to the late Lawrence and Evelyn McGarry. She met and later married Robert McGee in 1953. The couple settled in Denville in 1962, where they grew their family and have lived ever since. Evelyn was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and a devoted wife and mother. She truly was an exceptional homemaker, always putting her family before herself. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Robert of 50 years and her son in law Keith Fogerty; she is survived by her children Karen Murphy (Chuck), Barbara Kominiak (Keith), Patricia Fogerty, Robert McGee (Karen) and Teresa Drake (William); her ten adoring grandchildren Nicole Sedam (Sean) Chuck Murphy (Ashley), Todd & Troy Kominiak, Keith, Jacqueline & Kyle Fogerty, and Chelsea, Tyler & Janelle Drake; great grandson Samuel Sedam; and many more loving relatives and friends.
