Obituary of Walter R. Borell

Walter R. Borell, 81, died on Monday Dec. 15, 2008 at his home in Rockaway Twp, NJ.
He was born and raised in Bronx, NY and lived in Clifton, NJ before moving to Rockaway Twp. 51 years ago.
Walter was a Mechanical Engineer who received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from New York University in New York City in 1947. He started his career with Public Service in Newark and went on to work for Givaudan Corp. of Clifton where he retired in 1990.
He was an avid parishioner at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in Dover, NJ for over 50 years.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Gloria (Finlay) and his son Mark T. Borell.
He is survived by his four daughters, Barbara Cleffi of Bethlehem, PA, Karen Borell of New Braunfels, TX, Dianne McCarroll and Susan Reiris both of Rockaway, NJ. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother Robert of Newark, DE and two sisters Helen O'Rourke and Dorothy Borell both of Brick, NJ.
Services will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday 12/18 from 2-4 & 7-9PM and Friday 12/19 at 8:30AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Sacred Heart R. C. Church 4 Richards Ave. Dover, NJ.
