Julia E. Abraham, 73, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at her home in Rockaway Borough, NJ.
Mrs. Abraham was born in Morristown, NJ and was a resident of Rockaway Borough. Mrs. Abraham was a Secretary and Bus Driver for Morris Hills Regional District and was known as “Ma” to many of the students. She retired in 2000. Julia also worked as a Secretary for Drew Chemical Company in Boonton for many years and the NJ Foundation for the Blind.
She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas J. Reynolds, Sr. She is survived by her son, Thomas F. Abraham III and his wife Lisa, of Andover; a daughter, Lorie A. Prior and her husband, T. Scott of Hopatcong; 3 grandchildren, Scotty, Sean and Nicole Prior of Hopatcong; a brother, Edward M. Reynolds and his wife Sandra of Boonton; a sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews and Thomas F. Abraham, Jr., previously married to Julia.
Julia’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home For Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle on the web site in memory of Julia), on Sat., Dec. 13 at 8:00 AM for a 9:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia’s Church Rockaway, NJ. Committal and entombment services at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Franklin Borough, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, Dec. 12th at the funeral home from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
