We so enjoyed Uncle Cass - and he will be missed. We were his Denver 'pen pals' for years and loved exchanging thoughts and happenings with him. Wishing him and all his family grief during this time. He was a fine and spunky man we so enjoyed knowing.</b></font><br><br>

I was so sad to hear of the passing of my Great Uncle Cass yesterday. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him a lot. I was thinking about when I was a little girl and loved to listen to his stories and his piano playing. I looked forward to his visits in Ringwood. I remember the countless Fourth of July parades outside his house in Ridgefield Park. Such wonderful memories. When I graduated college, he opened his door to me and I lived with him for a few years. What an experience. We ate dinner almost every night together, we watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune! He told me about family memories, speaking polish and correcting grammar mistakes from the newspapers or Political speeches. We shoveled snow together, that was quite interesting: the man in his 80's and the girl who weighed about 85 pounds, shoveling the snow! Quite a scene! He offered me advice, and company when my parents moved to Florida. He gave me a shoulder when my heart was broken and a hug when I met my husband. He said he approved, I was thrilled! He said the prayer at my wedding, I will never forget the love in his voice........My Great Uncle Cass was an amazing man, a comfort, a strong spirit and he will be missed. I am sure the gates of Heaven welcomed him with glory. To a sweet, kind man I say sleep well, God rest your soul.......</b></font><br><br>

Uncle Cass was a super guy, always willing and ready to help everyone who asked. We will miss his wit and wisdom.
