Obituary of Kenneth R. Josephs

Kenneth R. Josephs, 63, died on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

He was born son of Henry and Theresa Josephs and raised in the Bay Ridge Section of Brooklyn and lived there until moving to Ho Ho Kus, NJ in 1997. In 2005, he and his wife Mary moved to Williamsburg, VA until returning to NJ settling in Somerset, NJ last year.

Ken served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War.

He worked on Wall Street in New York City as an investment broker first with Drexel Burnham and later with Instinet when he retired in 2004.

Besides spending time with his wife and daughter, Ken loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years Mary D. (Schaffer) and his daughter Kristin Josephs of Hillsborough, NJ and her fiancée’ Stephen Crawford of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by his brother and his wife Thomas M and Deborah Josephs of Ashville, NC.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Sat. June 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s RC Church on 95th St. Brooklyn, NY 11209.
