Obituary of Margaret A. Murphy

Margaret A. Murphy nee Curley, 87, died on Friday June 9, 2006 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares in Dover.
Margaret was born and raised in Passaic, and graduated from St. Marys High School in Rutherford. She then moved to Fair Lawn and finally to Denville in 1967.
She was a homemaker but she led a very active life. She was a former Gray Lady at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, and later worked as a volunteer at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, where she had also been in the Ladies Aux of the hospital. She is a member of the Denville Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Denville Womens Club.
She enjoyed sewing, and all types of Needlework, playing bridge and bingo. She was an avid Mets Fan as well as a fan of Notre Dame Football team.
She was an active communicant at St. Marys R. C. Church in Denville.
Her Husband Jerome J. died in 1981.
She is survived by her daughter and son in-law Eileen and Edward Russick of Denville, and her grandchildren Michael J. and Bonnie E. as well as her sister Eileen Leutz of Bluffton, S. C.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday June 12, 2006 at 8:30 AM for a 9:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys R. C. Church in Denville, N. J.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
