Dan and I are cousins and have always lived in different parts of the country. We were recently brought together due to the tragic passing of our aunt. I had two phone conversations with him and I remember feeling when I hung up that I had really missed something in not having a relationship with him all these years. He sounded so warm, strong and vibrant - someone you know you could count on when the chips were down. He left me with a warm feeling like I had hugged a great big teddy bear and he had hugged me back.
My family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Peg, and our cousins Lorraine and George. We know Dan resides with the angels now, but he will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

I will always remember Dan as a wonderful part of our family gatherings. With his wife Peg, he always arrived laden with generous contributions to the holiday feast!
We all enjoyed his company. He will be missed!

Uncle Dan was the kindest soul and the best uncle anyone could ask for. He was quiet and caring and you could always feel how much he loved you. I will miss him everyday.

Danny and Peggy have been our friends for over 40 years and they are what the true spirit of friendship defines. Dan was always there when needed, had support for everyone and never put himself first even in the last year or two while he battled for his life. He will be in our thoughts forever and we will miss him.
