Obituary of Gerd S. Kassor

Gerd S. Kassor, 70 Successful Business Owner Gerd S. Kassor, of Rockaway Twp, died on Monday May 1, 2006. He was 70. He was born June 13, 1935 in East Prussia, Germany. At age 14, he began learning his machine trade and in 1954 immigrated to the United States. He continued his career in the tool & die industry and became a successful business owner for more than 30 years. He served in the US Army, and remained on active reserves for 5 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ines; his son Dirk & fiance Pam of Blairstown; his daughters, Michelle & Rob Murray, and Marlissa and Mike Sherwood of Rockaway Twp. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; Michael & Robert Murray, and Emily Kassor. Also survived by his mother, Lydia Felekey and his sister, Roselies Vergara of California. Services are private.
