Obituary of Herbert S. Muse

Herbert S. Muse, 83, died at St. Clares Hospital in Dover, NJ. Herb was born in Versailles, PA, and lived in Parsippany, NJ before moving to the Flanders area six years ago. He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Infantry fighting in the European Theater during WWII. Herb was a Customer Service Manager with American Can Company for over 20 years, retiring in 1984. He was a long-time member of the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church. His wife Isabel L. Muse died December 10, 1978. He is survived by his four children: Wayne C. Muse of Lemoore, CA, Laurence J. Muse of St. Marys, GA, Leslie C. Muse of Duanesburg, NY, and Laura Muse Murphy of Flanders. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, his sister Jane Harrison and his sister-in-law Ruth Muse, both of Pennsylvania. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel at Restland Memorial Park 77 Deforest Ave. East Hanover, NJ. Arrangements are being handled by Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
