Eileen Virginia (Nee Hannigan) Lyden, 78, who was born in Jersey City and moved to families summer home in Indian Lake section of Denville in 1963 passed away on Thursday February 23, 2006 after a long illness.
Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband Peter J. Lyden I November 1990. Her four children and their loving families Denise Provost and her husband Bill, Peter Lyden and his wife Donna, Beverly Schreck and her husband John, Keith Lyden and his wife Stephanie, survive her. Her adoring grandchildren, Danielle, Dennis, Monica, Renee, Dayna, Peter, Matthew, Keith, Chloe, and Thomas, and great granddaughter Riley also survive Eileen. Her grandson Dominic also predeceased Eileen. Her sister in law Mary Guarino and many nieces and nephews also survive her.
Eileen worked for the Telephone Company and managed her husbands plumbing business. She was a past member of the Indian Lake Womans Club and the Senior Citizens Club of Denville.
Eileen enjoyed her lakefront home with its wonderful views, wild life and caring neighbors. Her family and large circle of friends will miss her.
Funeral service at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday February 27th at 11:00a.m. Interment Services at Denville Cemetery. Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 5:00p.m.In lieu of flowers donations to Compassionate Care Hospice 400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801 would be appreciated.
