Clifford B. Knauss, 81, died on Monday January 30, 2006 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Knauss was born in Irvington, NJ and was a resident of Denville for the last 50 years. Mr. Knauss was a World War II United States Army Air Corps veteran. He was an Auto Mechanic and owned and operated the Chevron Gas Station in Lake Hiawatha for 10 years before retiring 19 years ago. Mr. Knauss was a member of the Irvington Masons.
Beloved husband of Helen H. (nee Hingel) Knauss. Father of Virginia Rittenhouse and her husband Floyd of Mt. Laurel, NJ and the late Kenneth Knauss and his wife Susan of Sparta, NJ also survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother of the late Warren Krauss.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Thursday February 2nd from 7-9p.m. and attend services at 9:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054-4834 would be appreciated.
