Obituary of Richard E. Genung

Richard E. Genung, 86, died on Sunday January 29, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ.
He was born in New Brunswick, NJ and moved to the Cedar Lake section of Denville in 1946 after marring his wife the Late Elaine J. Kovar, who died in 1990.
Richard graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering.
He was in the U. S. Army Air Force during WWII.
He had worked in the Engineering Records Dept. at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, NJ for many years retiring in 1993.
He was a supportive and loving father and grandfather who spent all of his time enjoying each one of them.
He is survived by his children Dr. Richard C. and his wife Karoline Genung of Denville, Connie Simkins of Randolph, and Robin McNelis of Rockaway. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jacqueline and Stephen Genung, Noel Lazoricek, Jason and Bobby Simkins, David and Kristina Stanton, Paul Stanton, and Bryan Stanton, and his 91 year old brother William Genung of East Brunswick, NJ.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Denville Community Church 190 Diamond Spring Rd. Denville, NJ.
