Charlie O. Schumann passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on January 29, 2006. He was 78 years old
.
Born in Huntington Station, NY, he had lived in Parsippany, NJ for 32 years before moving to Rockaway, NJ 4 years ago.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Charlie had attended the RCA Institute in New York City and worked as Chief Engineer at Waveline in Fairfield, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1991.
He was an active member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace (Downs) Schumann of Rockaway, NJ.
His children Charles of Forrest Lake, VA, Karen DElia of Livingston, NJ, and Holly Sibilia of Budd Lake, NJ also survive him. His grandchildren Eric and Craig Schumann also survive him as well as his siblings Werner Schumann of South Setaucket, NY, Liesolette Jones of Staten Island, NY, Susie Weinacht of Kings Park, NY, and Herbert Schumann of Longwood, FL. Many Nieces & Nephews also survive him.
Funeral Services will be held at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mt, Lakes, NJ on Wednesday February 1, at 11AM. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
