Mary J. "Molly" DeGhett (Gorman) passed away at Care One of Morris in Parsippany, NJ on October 6, 2008. She was 96 years old.
Born and raised in New York City, she had lived to Morris Plains in the 1950's before moving to Parsippany 2 years ago.
Mary worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Morris County Library before retiring in 1975.
She is predeceased by her husband Victor J. DeGhett in 1973.
Her son Victor J. (& Stephanie C.) DeGhett Jr. of Potsdam, NY, her granddaughter Torie Rose C. DeGhett of Potsdam, NY survives her.
She is also survived by her sister Catherine P. Murphy of Denville, NJ and her Niece Ellen (& Charlie) Pilger of Stockholm, NJ. And many nieces & nephews in the NY, NJ area.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on October 10, at 9AM for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
Friends may visit on Thursday from 6-8PM.
