Henry Joseph Zieba Sr. passed away at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ on Friday January 13, 2006. He was 83 years old.
Born in Greenwich, CT he had moved around for 21 years with the Navy before settling in Denville, NJ 30 years ago.
Henry was an Officer and Pilot in the US Navy for 21 years and was active in WWII, Korea and Vietnam before he retired as Lt. Commander in 1969. He then went to work at Mrs. Pauls as the East coast Regional Sales Manager for 14 years before retiring again.
Henry was an active member of the Denville Rotary Club for many years.
He is pre deceased by his daughter Linda Shelley who passed way in 1990.
His wife of 60 years, Lorraine M. (Danko) Zieba survives him. His son Henry Joseph Jr. (& Susan) also survive him. His grandchildren Henry Joseph III, Justin, Zachary, and Tiffany Zieba, and Alan Jr., Kyra, Ryan, and Kyle Shelley also survive him. His son in-law Alan (& Jeanne) Shelley survive him as well as his brother Chester Zieba and his children Andrew Craig Zieba, and Wendy Ann MacIntyre.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Tuesday at 10AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Virgils Church in Morris Plains. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Greenwich, CT. Friends may visit on Monday from 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers donations to: Compassionate Care Hospice 400 W.
