Edward F. Raffo passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NJ on January 9, 2006.
He was 92 years old.
Born and raised in Rutherford he had move to Glen Rock where he lived for 46 years prior to moving to Denville, NJ 7 years ago.
Edward received his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Newark College of Engineering in 1936.
He was employed by Anaconda Copper in New York City where he worked as a mining engineer for 33 years before retiring in 1983.
Edward was a volunteer for the Red Cross in Glen Rock, NJ and was the active president of the Franciscan Oaks Resident Council in Denville
He is pre deceased by his wife of 58 years, the late Madeline (Sullivan) who passed away in 1997.
His children Edward Raffo Jr. of Boise, ID, Thomas Raffo of Orange Park FL, and Marilyn Waters of Succasunna, NJ survive him. His 11Ggrandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren also survive him.
