Joseph C. Bernesby, 76, died on Tuesday October 25, 2005 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown. He was born in Queen, NY and moved to the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville in 1975. Joe served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Manager of Property Accounting for Nabisco Corporation in East Hanover, NJ, where he had worked for 47 years, retiring in 1994. His passion was Golf. His wife Mary Lappin died in 1994, and a son Joseph died in 1979. He is survived by his children Peter of Denville, Christopher and his wife Nona of West Orange, Susan and her husband Bob Mannion and Mary Bernesby both of Denville. His grandchildren Julia, Charles and Luke Mannion, and Amelia and Christopher Bernesby. His brother Robert of Fla. and a sister Alma McClure of Malvern, L. I., NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his longtime friend Laura.
