"The heart and conscience of our family"
Mrs. G. Lucille DeGrosky (ne Coughtrie) of Rainbow Lakes, Parsippany, age 80, passed away in her sleep, attended by her loving family, on Sunday, September 21, 2008.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Sr., and four children, Bill Jr. of Wilmington, Delaware, Linda McGee of Denville, New Jersey, Michael of Wisdom, Montana, and Matthew of Keene, New Hampshire, their spouses, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was an active member of Prince of peace Lutheran Church, Rockaway, and took pride in being a Charter Member of the church, founded in 1964. She was the last surviving Charter Member of the church and will be so honored at special services.
Mrs. DeGrosky was Treasurer of the marketing consulting firm and agency that has carried the family name since 1970. She was a Life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rainbow Lakes Volunteer Fire Company and served as its Treasurer for 17 consecutive years.
A resident of Rainbow Lakes since relocating from Pittsburgh in 1964, she was an active member of its Community Club, a past Cub Scout Leader and volunteer worker.
Visitation will be at the Norman Dean Funeral Home, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, from4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 10 Knoll Drive, Rockaway, NJ 07866 (across from Morris Knolls High School) on Friday, September 26, 2008, starting at 7:00 p.m.
