Obituary of Vincent T Ferrone Sr.

Vincent T. Ferrone Sr. 80, died on Saturday September 24, 2005 at his home in Rockaway Twp. Vincent was born in Dover General Hospital and lived his entire life in Rockaway. He had served in the U. S. Air Force during WWII. He worked for Westinghouse Corp. in Succasunna for 26 years retiring at the age of 60 in 1985. While there he had served in many capacities with the I. B. E. W., first as a Shop Steward and finally as the President. He was a member of the Rockaway Twp. Senior Citizens. He had a passion for cooking and he loved to go shopping and cook for his family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling and enjoyed going to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He married Jennie M. DiCarlo on October 20, 1946 at Mt. Carmel R. C. Church in Boonton, NJ and they were just about to celebrate their 59th anniversary next month. He is also survived by his children Vincent T. Jr.Jimmy and Catherine Keating both of Rockaway, and John of Denville. Five grandchildren James Ferrone, Nicholas Ferrone, Michael Ferrone, Paul Ferrone, and Carl Keating. He also has four great grandchildren Carl Keating Jr., Ryan Keating, Alexandra Ferrone and James Ferrone, as well as a sister Catherine Kukuvka of Rockaway.
