Martha Eva Spoerlein Feller, 91, died on August 13, 2005, at Hunterdon Care Center in Clinton, NJ.
Mrs. Feller was born July 12, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a graduate of Dusquesne University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math and Science. She also did graduate studies in Library Science at Farleigh Dickinson University.
Mrs. Feller moved to Denville in 1943, in 1986 she moved to Blairstown and was a resident of Heath Village for 4 years and most recently resided in Clinton with her daughter Margaret.
She was a teacher at Dennis B. OBrien School in Rockaway, and in Mt. Arlington Public Schools. She was a school librarian until retirement in the Parsippany School system. Mrs. Feller was an active member of St. Marys Church until moving to Blairstown and then became a member of St. Judes Church. She did considerable volunteer work including many years at the Nook run by Saint Clares Hospital, Denville and as a librarian in Blairstown Public Library. She was a recipient of numerous art awards for her oil paintings through Morris County Art Society and the New Jersey State Art Society. She was a world traveler and visited many countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Caribbean and Asia.

Grandmother of Vincent Mazzei of Newtown, PA, sister of M.Teresa Spoerlein of North Branch, NJ and sister-in-law of Nell Spoerlein of Clairton, PA.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. On Tuesday at 9:00AM for a 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Interment Denville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday from 5-8PM.
