Patricia J. Luzzi, 83, died on Sunday Apr. 21, 2013 at her home in the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ. She was born in Brooklyn and summered in Indian Lake where she moved permanently after her marriage to Daniel “Sonny” Luzzi in 1950. She was a homemaker as well as an active member of the Indian Lake Community Club where she raised her six boys. She had also been a member of St. Mary’s RC Church in Denville and she volunteered with the annual Harvest Festival for St. Clare’s Hospital. Her husband Daniel died in 1998, and her two sons Joseph and Peter also previously died. She is survived by her sons and their spouses Daniel and Rosemary of Denville, Michael and Laura of Roxbury, David and Melissa of Hopatcong and Patrick and Terri of Randolph, two daughter in-laws Jeanne Luzzi of Flemington, NJ and Pamela and her husband Matthew Benson of Denville. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren as well as her brother John Judge of Ashburn, Virginia and many nieces and nephews. A Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass will be held on Saturday April 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s R. C. Church Denville, NJ. Following the Mass she will be buried in the Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
