Erin Margaret Smith, 11, died at her home in the Rainbow Lakes Section of Parsippany, NJ on Tuesday June 14, 2005 following an eight year battle with Cancer.
She was born in Denville and lived in the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany.
Erin attended Intervale Elementary School and moved up to 6th grade at Brooklawn Middle School in Parsippany. Being with her many friends, planning parties, cooking with Dad, shopping with Mom, and adding to her American Doll collection were the delights of her life. Wise beyond her years, her courageous spirit touched everyone she met.
She is the beloved daughter of Dorothy and Gregory M. Smith, loving sister of Evan, granddaughter of Margaret McDougall Saunders, all of Rainbow Lakes. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and her Westie dog Jack.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday June 17, 2005 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Funeral services and burial will be private. Donations are being accepted to the Erin Smith Fund 44 West Shore Road Denville, NJ 07834, they will be distributed to Erins favorite charities.
