Benjamin M. Sarao, 82, died at the Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center, Denville, NJ on Sunday June 12, 2005 with his family surrounding his bedside.
Mr. Sarao was born Jersey City, NJ and was a long time resident for 45 years at Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, he has lived the last 9 years in Denville, NJ. Mr. Sarao was a World War II U S Army Veteran He was a former member of the VFW of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. He was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Catholic University, Washington, DC and received a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering. Mr. Sarao was employed for many years at Western Electric, Kearny, NJ and retired in 1975.
Mr. Sarao was married for 55 years to Mary Frances Sarao of Denville, NJ, he is the devoted father of Elaine M. Sarao and her husband Paul Kervin of Washington, DC, Benjamin M. Sarao and his wife Suzanne Saylor of Seattle, WA, Christopher J. Sarao and his wife Diane of Sandyston, NJ, and Mary Ann Sarao and husband Brian Whaley of Pennington, NJ, and six wonderful grandchildren David, Alex, John, Nick, Chris and Nicole survive him.
A funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Thursday June 15th at 9:00a.m. For a 10:00a.m.Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Francis Chapel, Denville, NJ. Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday June 15th from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
