Muriel Vander Spek died at Care One At Morris in Parsippany, NJ after a short illness. She was 92 years old.
Mrs. Vander Spek was born in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, NY and lived many years in Ridgewood and Wyckoff of Bergen County. Mrs. Vander Spek was a homemaker.
Mrs. Vander Spek was the beloved wife of the late Jacob. She was the mother of the late Jean May Derkinderen and the grandmother of Eric Derkinderen of Denville and Lora Blake of Pennsylvania. She also has five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday May 11th from 8:30a.m. to the time of service at 10:00a.m. at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue in Denville (www.normandean.com.) Interment will be at Laural Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
