Virgie M. Reed, 78, died on Friday March 18th at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mrs. Reed was born in Baltimore, MD, had lived in Madison, NJ and the last 10 years in Rockaway, NJ. Mrs. Reed was employed for 17 years at Sandoz Pharmacuetical Co in East Hanover, NJ as a Pharmaceuticals Operator in the Inspection Quality Control Dept., retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Reed was the beloved wife of the late Green Reed. Mother of Steven Reed of Vineland, Bruce Reed and his wife Tammy of Apex, NC, David of Morristown, and Sharon Monarque and her husband Steven of Rockaway. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sister of Mary Bell of Madison, NJ, Betty Fisher of MD, Eva Fazio of Iowa, Edie Hammons of TN and the late Virgil Riddle Jr.
Funeral service at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday March 21st at 11:30a.m., interment Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday March 20th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m.
