Ferriero, 81, passed away at her home in Parsippany, NJ on Sunday April 7, 2013. Shirley was born in Bernardsville, NJ and was a longtime resident of Parsippany. She was an Administrative Assistant for 29 years at Picatinny Arsenal retiring in 1997. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Ferriero in 1969. She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Fornini and her husband Albert, and her two sons, Anthony Ferriero and his wife Cheryl, and David Ferriero, and her five grandchildren, Elizabeth Fornini-Skladany, Katie Fornini, Amy Ferriero, Albert Fornini, and Wendy Ferriero, and her sister, Arlene Renwick, and her sister-in-law, Norma Ciardi, and her brother-in-law, Jay Ferriero and his wife Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. Shirley’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Shirley on website), on Wednesday April 10th at 9am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ, committal and interment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday April 9th at the funeral home from 3-8pm.
