Obituary of William Paul Thead

W. Paul Thead, 88, died on Thursday February 17, 2005 of Denville, NJ.
Paul was born and raised in Crandall, Mississippi, and lived in Tinton Falls, NJ before moving to Denville 18 years ago.
He served in the Army during WWII as a Journalist and following the war he continued writing as a ghostwriter of speeches for the Generals as well as a Technical writer, he had also been a reporter for the Newark News in Newark, NJ.
He was a member of the American Civil Liberties Union here in New Jersey.
His wife Harried Cobb Thead died in Oct.1979. He is survived by a nephew Dr. Larry Thead of Mobile, Al. A brother Harry Thead and a sister Mary Anderson both of MS. Four Sister in-laws Virginia Sullivan, Carolyn Headley, Janet Bricker, and Phyllis Cobb.
A graveside service will be held on Sat. Feb. 19, 2005 at 10:30 AM followed by an 11:00 AM Service at the Union Hill Presbyterian Church on 427 Franklin Road in Denville 07834. Donations are being accepted to the churchs Memorial Fund.
