Linda Castro (nee DeMichele) passed away at her residence in Flanders, NJ. She was 51 years old.
She was born in Orange, NJ and spent most of her life in South Orange before moving to Flanders 1 year ago.
She had attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick prior to getting her Masters degree in bi-lingual education from Kean University in 1995.
She was a bi-lingual educator prior to teaching technology for the Irvington Board of Education for the last 13 years.
Her children Douglas Castro of Flanders, and Stephanie Castro of East Orange, NJ survive her.
Her grandchildren Damien and Devin Barnes also survive her. Her siblings Mark DeMichele of ME, Carolyn Smith of FL, Lorrie Burdick of PA, Steven DeMichele of Fairlawn and Sandy DeMichele of Denville, NJ also survive her. Nieces & nephews also survive her.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Friday February 11 at 9:00AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange, NJ at 10:30AM. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
