Obituary of Marie G. “Suzanne” Zimmerman

Suzanne Zimmerman, 71, died on Friday Jan.28, 2005 at her home in the Indian Lake section of Denville.
Suzie was born in Denville and lived here all of her life.
She had worked as a court matron for the County of Morris in Morristown, for many years retiring several years ago.
She was very active volunteer in the area. She has been the director of the Denville Juvenile Conference Committee, as well as the Denville Election Board member, and on the Morris County Board of Social Services.
She has been a long time member of Denville Pride Council, and chaired their annual dinners and blood drives.
Suzie was a member of the Denville Republican Club as well as the Morris County Women Republican Club.
She had also been a member of Zonta International Club of the Morristown area.
She has been a communicant at St. Cecilias R. C. Church in Rockaway, where she had also been a Eucharistic Minister. She had also been a past member of St. Marys Rosary Society in Denville.
She belonged to the Indian Lake Community Club and had been a member of the Womens Club.
She had volunteered at Diamond Spring Lodge in Denville, and had helped St. Clares Hospital in Denville fund raising. She was also a member of the Gaelic Society of New York, and the Friends of Waterloo Village.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Albert E. and her four children Robert of San Diego, CA; Mary Talley of Williston, VT; David of Denville, and Joseph of Stockholm. She is also survived by her grandson Trebor.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Tuesday Feb.1, 2005 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Cecilias Church in Rockaway. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
