Varga, 91, passed away at the Care One at Morris in Parsippany, NJ on Sunday March 31, 2013. John was born in Clifton and he grew up in Garfield, he was a resident of Elmwood Park, and retired in Port Richey, Fl before moving back to New Jersey. He served in the United States Army as a Sargent during WW II in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. John was an Electronic Technician for the Kearfott Corporation in Wayne for 28 years retiring in 1980. John was predeceased by his wife Ethel L. Varga and his brother, Louis Varga. John is survived by his sons, Randall Varga and his wife Kathleen and Robert Varga and his wife Catherine, and his four grandchildren, Michael, Chelsea, Kristin, and Scott. John’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of John on website), on Thursday April 11th at 8:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, Cedar Knolls, NJ, committal and interment services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday April 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
