John Henry Williams, 76 of Massapequa, NY passed away Wednesday, 3/27/13 after suffering a stroke. He was born in Hocking County, OH to Minnie and Aaron Williams. He spent his childhood between Hocking County, and Pinellas County, FL. In 1955 he followed his older brother into the army. He defended the US from Lloyd Harbor Missile base on Long Island. He had many stories to tell of his time in the Army, but the greatest was the story of meeting the love of his life, Tillie Beck. They married in 1957 and were happily married for 47 raising their family in Massapequa. They were parishioners of Maria Regina Church in Seaford. John was a 3rd degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Memorare Council.
John loved his wife and considered her family his own. He cherished their time together calling them “homecomings” and referring to them as “the Beck Clan”. They in turn loved him like a brother.
