I met Kim 2 years ago at a "Look good, feel better" event at Morristown. I learned her 1st chemo treatment was the same day as my last. I made a point of wearing my wig that day (it was August, & I usually just wore a bandana) to show her. I knew she was special, even before I saw how many friends she had with her for support. Although we had just met, we became quick fb friends, we were sister in cancer. I am so sorry to learn this; my love & prayers go out to her family.

We have fun memories of Tyler and Ryan on the Blackhawks hockey team! I (Karen)enjoyed running into Kim and Amanda over the years in various places...one time we were both in Penn Station, NY and she had brought Amanda in for some baby modeling shots. Last year I saw her and Amanda at the Parsippany Hills High School play, and again at Mt. Tabor's Children's Day. Kim was a great mom, and so obviously dedicated to her family and friends. She will always be an example of inner strength and love for others.

On behalf of Denville PAL Blue Knights Hockey, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Kevin & Kids, and to Kim's entire extended family and friends. Kim was a special, unique, and 1 in a million girl. As a former board member for hockey, she cared about 1 thing: the kids. It was about ALL the kids, ALL the time. It is a personal honor to have been one of her many, many friends. She will be loved and missed by all. We have all sufferred a tragic loss. Yet, there is peace in knowing that Kim's pain has ceased and that she is shining down on us from above. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, babysitter, FRIEND, she will always be the #1 hockey mom and a forever friend. Heaven has gained a real keeper. God Bless, and, thanks for the memories!!!!!! Forever in our hearts.....Liz Dreisbach, Pres. Denville PAL Hockey.

I only knew Kim through the Cancer Support Group at St. Mary's. I first spoke to her after Mass one day when I recognized her as another chemo patient (no hair). She struck me as a wonderful person. Her death diminishes all of us.

Becky & Family, I wish there was something I could say to take away the pain your feeling away but unfortunately time is the only way of heeling. You mom was a one of a kind woman. Although I have not seen your mom recently, herself and Kevin have always opened up their home to my brother Brian and all of their friends. You are such a wonderful person inside and out who has really inspired people to be a better person and to fight no matter the circumstances. Your bravery and love with never be forgotten. You will live on through your family as I do with my mom. I know your both up there having one hell of a party. As much as I wish both of you could be here with us, God had other plans for such wonderful woman. God bless you and your family <3
