Obituary of Bernard A. “Tex” Textor

Bernard A. Tex Textor, 82, of Montville, NJ died on Monday Dec. 20th, 2004 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ of Cancer.
Mr. Textor was born in Newark, NJ and he lived in Montville, NJ for the last 37 years. He was a United States Navy Pilot during World War II and the Korean War an attained the rank of Lieutant. He was a Captain Pilot with the Trans Caribbean Airlines and then American Airlines till his retirement in 1981. He was a member of the Allied Pilots Association of American Airlines and the Gray Eagles. He was a member of the Rockaway River Country Club Denville, NJ and a former member of the Lake Valhalla Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Marilyn (Nee Sorge) Textor, his children Ken his wife Sally of Westerly, RI, Tim his companion Manny of Sacramento, CA, Patty her husband Bruce of Dixon, IL, and Janice her companion Sue of Easton, PA, and a predeceased son Larry. Also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His sister Terry Jamieson survives him.
