Born in Paterson to the late Frank and Jean, Bob was one of three children. After his schooling, he married his High School sweetheart Andrea Smith. The couple lived in Montville and later settled in Denville. Bob worked for the Montville Board of Education, serving as their Maintenance Supervisor for the district for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. Bob was an avid fisherman, hunter and bowler. He spent much time tinkering with cars, and was an exceptional “handyman” and builder. He always enjoyed a good day trip to the casinos; but above all, he loved spending time with his family. His fantastic sense of humor and love will be missed by all who knew him.
Predeceased by his brother Richard Heddy; he is survived by his loving wife Andrea of 49 years; his daughter Cindy Bott and son in law Howard; his sister Joan Minogue and brother in law Robert; his spoiled feline Scraps; and many other loving relatives and friends.
