Dan Dankos passed away at his home in Denville on Tuesday November 2. He was 68 years old.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he had lived in Denville for the last 25 years.
He attended St. Marys High School in Wilkes-Barre before attending Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus.
He had served in the US Army.
He worked for Exxon in NJ before retiring in 1986; he then worked for Port Authority in NY/NJ before retiring in 2004.
He was a past member of the Denville Kiwanis, the Joey Bella Board, the Denville Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Harvest Festival.
He is survived by his wife Sally of Denville, his daughters Rose Ann Cotreau of Denville, and Carolynne Jacquiss of Leeds, U.K. He is also survived by two grandchildren Melissa and Rebecca Cotreau.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes.
