Obituary of Elsie E. Babbitt

Elsie E. Babbitt, 93, died on Tuesday Oct. 5, 2004 at the Pine Acres Health Care Center in Madison, NJ.
Mrs. Babbitt was born in Morris Plains, NJ, and her residence for 0ver 40 years was in the Indian Lake section of Denville. She was employed with Singer Sewing Machine Co, Dover, NJ as a sewing instructor. After her retirement in 1969 she was a clerk for Bambergers in Morristown, NJ. Mrs. Babbitt was a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church in Morristown and Church of the Saviour, Denville, a member of the Denville Senior Citizens, Indian Lake Community Club, and a graduate of the Morristown High School Class of 1929.
Mrs. Babbitt was the wife of the late Russell Babbitt. A nephew Fred Freligh and two nieces Pricilla Doustra and Cheryl Tumala survive her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday Oct. 11th from 2-4p.m. at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. The funeral services will be held at 4:00p.m.
