Anastasia M. Hayes passed away March 14, 2013 at the age of 88. She couldn’t sing, she couldn’t dance, but boy could she tell a good joke! Did you hear the one…!
Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, she retired from NY Telephone and perhaps that is where she got her gift of gab. She is survived by one sister, Clare Reilly (Hayes) formerly of Glen Rock, NJ now residing in South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. Surely she was met at the Pearly Gates by family and friends toasting her with a Manhattan in hand. She will be missed by all.
Visitation will begin at 10AM on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at St. Francis Chapel in Denville, NJ followed by a 10:30AM Mass of Christian Burial service. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx, NY. Services under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
