John N. Birmingham, 92, was born in Newark, NJ, attended schools in Nutley and graduated from Newark College of Engineering in 1941.
He had served in the US Navy during WWII.
John held various engineering positions at Celanese Corp., General Aniline & Film Corp., and C. F. Braun & Co., retiring in 1984.
He had been a member of the Mendham Golf and Tennis Club, The Monday Club and he had served as treasure for the Morristown Women’s Club “Operation Holiday”.
John is survived by his wife Elizabeth Birmingham, his children Richard of Richmond, VA, Thomas of Morris Plains, John of Wilmington, DEL, Eileen of Randolph and Patricia of Winston Salem, NC, as well as seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Chapel on Pocono Rd. Denville, NJ.
